42k’s = 26.2 miles
The average time it takes to complete a marathon is anywhere from 3.5 hours – 5 hours.
Generally most people will walk at a speed of approximately 3 miles per hour, based on this estimate you should be able to cross the finish line in approximately 60 minutes.
But f you are used to running then your average speed is probably more like 5 miles per hour, so then you should be able to a 5K in about 40 minutes.
