The other thing they all have in common is that they don’t have an extra ounce of body fat between them. In order to show off your abs you need to aggressively strip down your body fat. Abs are tucked away in your core, and if you want to show them off it’s not going to be easy. Now the good news: it could very well be that you already have a great set of abs and all you need to do is pare down your diet to see them.
## Patience
As with all fitness related goals it is important not to get discouraged or impatient with the results. Know what it is you need to do. Have faith in your ability to do it. Avoid shortcuts. If you exercise correctly and eat properly you will see those well defined abs eventually.
